Seems that the more the rhetoric aimed at the government's threatened shutdown all boils down to the left's love for baby-killing. The saddest commentary is that when they say they are demanding the protection of women's health or resorting to low statements like Pelosi saying its a "war on women" or Demon-crat from New York who said Republicans had come to town elected to "Kill Women!"
Frankly, doesn't anyone get the fact that one out of every two abortions are killing a woman. Of course, one could argue that "women's health" is grossly deminished and tarnished by abortion. In fact abortion today, even kills women. But, that is perfectly ok as long as abortion, the holy grail of the left, is left funded by the American public.
I frankly think its time someone defund the White House and pull the rug out from under the Demons that control the Senate.

Obama lied last night about funding abortion
There are many reasons to oppose President Obama's push to take over the nation's health care system, but among the most important is this one: his plan will put Planned Parenthood clinics inside your child's school.
Yes, you read that right. Under an innocuous-sounding section titled "School-Based Health Clinics," H.R. 3200 will authorize Planned Parenthood, as a "sponsoring facility," to run a clinic during school hours on the grounds of public schools, with absolutely no accountability either to parents or school administrators.
Clinics would be accountable only to the Secretary of Health & Human Services, the radically pro-abortion Kathleen Sebelius, who was a fervent supporter of late-term abortionist George Tiller.
All this will be done at taxpayer expense. And unlike the rest of the bill, which isn't slated to go into effect until 2013, these clinics are scheduled to go into schools next fall.
As you know, Planned Parenthood is the nation's largest abortion provider and the most dangerous purveyor of the mythical "safe sex" message which has deprived so many American teens of their sexual innocence and left them with diseases and unwanted pregnancies. Iranin Election Update

Friends, the Iranians fighting for their freedom are getting grass roots support from common people all over the world, compassionate that the Iranian power-system that is oppressing them - even to the point where a simple vote is not really counted and students are randomly arrested and killed. But they are not getting support from the governments of the world.
The Iranian councils and clerics that run the govt are utterly opposed to a new -- and fair -- election. Even though they themselves publicly admitted 2 days ago "this election has seen the least corruption and fraud of any of our elections". So they just admitted what the public knows, they cannot ever afford to let the people have what they want, for that will end their power train. Are Christians,Vets, Prolifers just like the KKK: COX News thinks so in Marshall TX

"Two men: one white, one black. One brutally murdered while standing at the gate to his homestead, the other kidnapped, beaten and burned by hot tar while being covered with feathers." This headline and first paragraph quote was taken from Sunday's April 19, 2009 front page of the Marshall News Messenger, a Cox owned newspaper. At first glance it appears to be current, relevant news. Nothing could be further from the truth.
It is not until half way through the third paragraph that the reader gets a hint that the time frame for this atrocity was 1924, some 85 years ago. As a resident of Marshall and as one who has been active in the community, I have worked with hispanics, blacks, and whites to successfully achieve community goals that we all valued. It is for that very reason that I am offended to have all the hard work that has been done and is continuing to be done in Marshall by all races be tainted by misleading headlines. Publishing and editing the "other local newspaper" in Marshall, Texas, I am more aware of how various internet search engines crawl through front page headlines of various printed newspapers and grab headlines. Many fine citizens of Marshall as well as members of city government have been working diligently the past few years to develop and improve Marshall's image and further develop tourism. Tens of thousands of dollars have been spent with outside consultants on how to accomplish this difficult task and tens of thousands more are yet to be spent developing our brand. Those hard working individuals know only too well that you can do 99 things well and only 1 thing poorly and in the public's eye they will remember the 1 thing poorly done.
Does Phil Latham, publisher and editor of the Marshall News Messenger, really think this type of front page sensationalism is going to improve tourism in Marshall? Does he think it will help improve enrollment in Wiley College or East Texas Baptist University or Panola College or Texas State Technical College? If I were an out of town parent thinking of sending my son or daughter to school in Marshall and came across this headline either in printed form or on the internet, I might not take the time to read the full article. I might get the wrong impression of Marshall and elect to send my son or daughter to school else where; certainly some place where there is no racial tension.
Unfortunately, this type of "shock jock" journalism is the way many desperate printed newspapers are turning these days to help improve their dwindling readership and advertising revenue. Instead, advertisers are turning more to cable tv and the internet to get the biggest bang for their advertising buck. Hopefully, Phil Latham and the rest of his editorial staff will place sensational "historic" articles in the LIFESTYLE section of their paper and save the front page for current, relevant news.

Is America becoming Argentina

The disastrous path on which America is currently embarked was tried in another country. A fact not well known is that Argentina, prior to World War II, was an economic powerhouse. Beginning in the 1880s and continuing through the 1920s and 1930s, it was regarded as one of the most prosperous and advanced nations in the world. Then Juan Peron and his wife, Eva, took control in the 1940s until a coup in 1955 ousted them from power.
Argentina had a strong industrial base, thriving agricultural exports, huge cattle ranches, and a broad and expanding middle class. Like America, it served as a magnet for immigrants from all over the world, especially Italians. Within 15 years under the Perons, Argentina, however, went from being one of the richest to one of the poorest countries. To date, it has never fully recovered.
Upon coming to office, Peron, along with his popular beautiful wife, Eva, created a state characterized by lavish social spending, elaborate welfare programs, protectionism, confiscatory taxation, and runaway deficits. Juan Peron used class warfare rhetoric. He attacked big business, the banks, the private corporations, and the propertied class. He gave the labor unions power and made them pivotal allies of his regime. Then Peron expanded the bloated government bureaucracy to intervene in every aspect of business and life, which led to internal corruption.
Peron's central socialist economic planning destroyed industrial productivity and growth. The world's investment capital fled. Taxes, inflation, unemployment, and interest rates soared and the middle class was wiped out. Finally, an independent judiciary and media ceased to exist. Eva's cult of supporters fostered a climate of violence and political enemies of the regime were exterminated. Argentina degenerated into the typical debt-ridden Latin American country that it still is today.
The failure of Argentina under Peron should serve as a warning to us. Socialism and a sky-rocketing debt can permanently impoverish even the wealthiest of nations and America is not immune from the laws of economics.
Obama is taking the first dangerous steps toward an American version of Peronism. His followers see him as a political messiah and a revolutionary change agent. He and the Democrats are plundering the country, using it as a vehicle to reward supporters and punish foes. They plan to confiscate wealth by taxing the rich and successful business class. Obama's plan to do away with secret ballets will strengthen the labor unions. His wife, Michelle, is the Eva Peron of our time, a glamorous, chic, socialist fashion trend-setter who is beloved by the media.
Just remember, "Those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it".

- $381,000 for music programs at Lincoln Center …
- $6.6 million for termite research in New Orleans …
- $300,000 for the Montana World Trade Center …
- $2.1 million for the Center for Grape Genetics in New York …
- $1.7 million for a honeybee factory in Weslaco, Texas …
- $143,000 for an online encyclopedia in Nevada …
- $150,000 for a rodeo museum in South Dakota …
- $238,000 for the Alaska PTA …
- $333,000 for a school sidewalk in Franklin, Texas, and …
- $1.7 million to research pig farts and poop in Iowa …
This $410 billion bill, plus the $787 billion Obama and Congress spent last week, adds up to a staggering $1.2 trillion spent in Obama’s first 43 days in office.

While they make a grand public show of oozing empathy for “the poor,” Obama and Congressional scoundrels running up these huge deficits are, in fact, the poor’s worst nightmare for four clear reasons:
- 1. Higher taxes on business mean THE WORKING POOR — the most expendable employees at most companies — are more likely to lose their jobs as this crisis intensifies.
- 2. Higher taxes on business caused by these deficits mean POOR CONSUMERS pay more for food, energy and many other things they buy.
- 3. Huge deficits mean interest rates businesses pay will soar and as always, those costs will be passed on to THE POOR, along with the rest of us.
- 4. Huge deficits also mean that THE POOR and the rest of us will be slammed by soaring inflation once this crisis ends and the trillions of dollars printed in the meantime inevitably destroy the buying power of our money.
But as the poor are, by definition, the least educated members of our society, they remain blissfully unaware that they are being played for suckers …
And therefore, they continue to vote for the very liberal and/or corrupt politicians – Democrats and Republicans alike — who are enslaving them; dooming them to eternal dependence on Washington.
The bottom line: Phony empathy that results in dependence is not compassionate. Only fiscal conservatism can free the poor to better their lives.

- And I propose you go to www.house.gov and share your opinion with Pelosi as well as your personal representative.
Tell them you know they’re welching on their promise to end earmarks and pork. Urge them to defeat this terrible bill. Threaten retaliation at the polls if they schlep this load of garbage through.
If you do, your conscience will be clear. If you don’t, you’ll have no excuse to complain when the pig poop hits the air conditioner.

"No New Taxes??????" Who is kidding who?
The Transportation Funding Area bill that is being proposed in the Texas legislature would bring a new taxing district to the north Texas area. This would impose a whole series of potential new taxes to fund transportation projects.
This new taxing district would be in addition to your school district, city, county, and community college property taxes, in addition to the tolls that you pay on the tollways, and in addition to the transportation bonds that you previously approved.
The TFA bill seems to be written so that it goes around county commissioners. The Regional Transportation Council selects projects for the counties. The bill gives city councils the authority to force an election on the whole county.
The potential taxes add up to a hefty chunk. (Note: these are changing as the bill evolves.)
- A new county gas tax of up to 10 cents per gallon. This is in addition to any increased federal gas tax or increased state gas tax. And the legislature has not yet fully committed to stopping the diversions of the gas tax that you already pay to non-transportation expenditures.
- A parking fee up to $1 per hour on government properties.
- A "mobility improvement fee" up to $60.
- An annual emissions fee up to $15.
- An additional driver's license fee of up to $24.
- A roadway impact on initial vehicle registration fee up to $250.
This bill is structured with the belief that you, the voter, will vote for any tax that is put on a ballot with no discernment whether or not the added tax is absolutely necessary or not.
Where is the review to make sure that every tax dollar is being spent as wisely as possible before we add yet another tax? Where is the prioritization to make sure that your tax dollars are being spent for the most important government functions?
More taxes of every kind is always the answer from most government entities because that is what increases their power and authority, but limits the review of how they spend the tax dollars you already give them. Sometimes I think that elected officials confuse government with a commercial company - something to be grown as large as possible.
What you can do: Be aware. Watch the progress of this bill. Watch the language that is used; language that will mirror the language used for the federal stimulus package - something must be done or a catastrophe will happen. The Ground Beneath us Has Shifted - True
In the opening remarks of the 44th Inaugural speech, Obama said, "the ground beneath has shifted." He also said to "every nation" we are your friend. Oh, OK: does this mean Iran, China and Dufor, we love you, come on over and take us out with your bombs.
Of course, his speech writers had him said that his will not be a government of deceit and censoring of dissent. Then I call on Obama now to NOT ENFORCE THE FREEDOM OF CHOICE ACT that will stop out the cries of hope against the horror of abortion NOR THE FAIR USE DOCTRINE that will silence all who speak against the liberal left nor fund the abortion trade with one billion dollars while cutting the funds to abstinence education. Tell the truth and do what you say, not what we know you have said you are going to do.
From where I see it, this was a good speech but if you read between the lines you may find the real meanings of this speech.

Pepsi has given Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) a half-million dollars to help push the homosexual agenda in the workplace. PFLAG is a political advocacy group that promotes radical homosexual political causes like same-sex marriage, hate-crime laws, and gay adoption.
Pepsi has a long tradition of financial support for homosexual groups. According to Jacqueline Millan, director of PepsiCo Corporate Contributions, "We are delighted to continue our partnership with PFLAG...(in) promoting the necessary message of inclusion to untapped groups...and that is a crucial step toward building a healthy working environment."
Despite the fact that 30 states have passed constitutional amendments defining marriage as being between a man and a woman, Pepsi continues to support the efforts by same-sex groups pushing for homosexual marriage.
AFA wrote Pepsi on October 14 and again on October 29 asking the company to remain neutral in the culture war. Pepsi didn't care enough to respond to the AFA letters. Pepsi's lack of response indicates the company plans to continue support for the homosexual agenda.
FROM WHERE I SEE IT: Another sign America is headed for doom.

OBAMA ELECTED: AMERICA IS GOING LEFT What are we to do?
Its been barely a week since the election and already we see signs of the left clammoring to take over this nation. Never in the history of this fine nation has America as we know it about to change for the worse.
The demon-cratic control of FANNIE MAE, FANNIE MAC hold the entire responsibility for the financial crisis we find ourselves in. The rash of bank failures, automotive giants toppling over from debt and the entire nation seeming swaying too and fro from the greed at the top of the trash heep.
Already, we have seen radical leftist, homosexual anarchists breaking into White Christians private worship service disruping and vandalizing one church in Ohio over California voting no to the same sex marriage ban.
What sense can you make of this illegal action taken by a bunch of deranged homosexuals acting like demon-possessed idoits? But thats not all.
The rest of story includes a Mormon man in San Francisco who was forced from his job because he donated $1000 in support of the defeat of the gay marriage effort in California.
When the left doesn't get its way, it rams it down the throat of its opposition. Mr. Obama, where is the toning down of the partison rhetoic on your side of the aisle?
Oh and of course, theres talk about the Fair Doctrine coming against conservative talk show hosts. If we want to reinstate the Fair Doctrine then how about everytime Kennedy, Bidon, Obama, Barney Frank or Barbara Boxer get in front of a microphone or camera, that equal time be given to Rush, Shawn, Mark or Mike. and every time MoveON.org or DailyKaus or Media Matters for America slam their propoganda through the email, lets be sure proAmerica bloggers have their equal time and space and emailig as do the slime machines.
Now if Obama's going to help all the poor, how about sending a few hundred thousand my way and I have about 1600 other friends who could use that same hundred thousand.
From where I see it, America is heading hard left and the right better wake up and make a lot of noise lest the man in black comes to take you away. Further, we better get dead serious about electing the 36 governors seats coming up for election in 2010. And we need to mobilize a massive activist community of Republicans and Libertarians, Conservaitves and any one that believes in smaller government and citizen rights to get busy right now.

You are about to read a list of 45 goals that found their way down the halls of our great Capitol back in 1963. As you read this, 39 years later, you should be shocked by the events that have played themselves out. I first ran across this list 3 years ago but was unable to attain a copy and it has bothered me ever since. Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.
At Mrs. Nordman's request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following "Current Communist Goals," which she identifies as an excerpt from "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen:

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.
8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.
9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.
10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.
11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)
12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.
13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.
14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.
15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
18. Gain control of all student newspapers.
19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.
20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.
21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."
27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."
28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."
29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."
31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.
34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.
35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.
36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].
39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.
41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

"But the Supreme Court never ventured into the issues of redistribution of wealth," he complained. "And sort of more basic issues of political and economic justice in this society. And to that extent, I think, as radical as people try to characterize the Warren Court, it wasn't that radical. It didn't break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it's been interpreted, and the Warren Court interpreted it in the same way, that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties, says what the states can't do to you, says what the federal government can't do to you, but it doesn't say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf, and that hasn't shifted, and one of the, I think, the tragedies of the Civil Rights movement was, because the Civil Rights movement became so court focused, I think there was a tendency to lose track of the political and community organizing activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributive change. And, ah, in some ways we still suffer from that."

Barack Obama laughs off charges of socialism. Joe Biden scoffs at references to Marxism. Both men shrug off accusations of liberalism.
But Obama himself acknowledges that he was drawn to socialists and even Marxists as a college student. He continued to associate with Marxists later in life, even choosing to launch his political career in the living room of a self-described Marxist, William Ayers, in 1995, when Obama was 34.
Obama's affinity for Marxists began when he attended Occidental College in Los Angeles.
"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully," the Democratic presidential candidate wrote in his memoir, "Dreams From My Father." "The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."
Obama's interest in leftist politics continued after he transferred to Columbia University in New York. He lived on Manhattan's Upper East Side, venturing to the East Village for what he called "the socialist conferences I sometimes attended at Cooper Union."
After graduating from Columbia in 1983, Obama spent a year working for a consulting firm and then went to work for what he described as "a Ralph Nader offshoot" in Harlem.
"In search of some inspiration, I went to hear Kwame Toure, formerly Stokely Carmichael of Black Panther fame, speak at Columbia," Obama wrote in "Dreams," which he published in 1995. "At the entrance to the auditorium, two women, one black, one Asian, were selling Marxist literature."
Obama supporters point out that plenty of Americans flirt with radical ideologies in college, only to join the political mainstream later in life. But Obama, who made a point of noting how "carefully" he chose his friends in college, also chose to launch his political career in the Chicago living room of Ayers, a domestic terrorist who in 2002 proclaimed: "I am a Marxist."
Also present at that meeting was Ayers' wife, fellow terrorist Bernardine Dohrn, who once gave a speech extolling socialism, communism and "Marxism-Leninism."
Obama has been widely criticized for choosing the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, an anti-American firebrand, as his pastor. Wright is a purveyor of black liberation theology, which analysts say is based in part on Marxist ideas.
Few political observers go so far as to accuse Obama, the Democratic presidential nominee, of being a Marxist. But Republican John McCain has been accusing Obama of espousing socialism ever since the Democrat told an Ohio plumber named Joe earlier this month that he wanted to "spread the wealth around."
Obama's running mate, Biden, recently contradicted his boss, saying: "He is not spreading the wealth around." The remark came as Biden was answering a question from a TV anchor who asked: "How is Senator Obama not being a Marxist if he intends to spread the wealth around?"
"Are you joking? Is this a joke? Or is that a real question?" an incredulous Biden shot back. "It's a ridiculous comparison."
But the debate intensified Monday with the surfacing of a 2001 radio interview in which Obama lamented the Supreme Court's inability to enact "redistribution of wealth" -- a key tenet of socialism. On Tuesday, McCain said Obama aspires to become "Redistributionist-in-Chief."
Obama has managed to cultivate the image of a political moderate in spite of his consistently liberal voting record. In 2006, he published a second memoir, "The Audacity of Hope," that leaves little doubt about his adherence to the left.
"The arguments of liberals are more often grounded in reason and fact," Obama wrote in "Audacity." "Much of what I absorbed from the sixties was filtered through my mother, who to the end of her life would proudly proclaim herself an unreconstructed liberal."
National Journal magazine ranked Obama as the most liberal member of the Senate. The publication is far from conservative, employing such journalists as Linda Douglass, who resigned in May to become Obama's traveling press secretary.

ONE PARTY CONTROL = TOTALITARISM
You may be so blinded by his hypnotic speeches but think about this: if Obama get in the White House, Pelosi and Reid and others control the house and sentate and if future retiring Supreme Court and state and federal court benches are filled with leftist judges who will make law from the bench, America will not be a free nation any longer. Hold on to your 401k --- The demons want it
How much have you socked away in your 401k to date?
Checked your balance lately? Seems they all have gone down.
But worse than that, demon-cratics in meetings on the hill are targeting your 401k.
Yes, when you think it could only get no worse, under Obama, you can bet they want to rob you of your 401k so they can spend it on all the freebies they want to give the non-working lower income. Oh, they say they will give it back to you when you get Social Security, but this is the same group who sucked dry Fannie Mac and Mac as the loans they had made went bad. In a manufactured crisis, the demon-crat fat cats got filthy rich off Fannie's money. Even as it was dying Obama, Bidon, Reid, Clinton and others were on the take from donations made by Fannie. If they can suck Wall Street to its knees bringing Fortune 500 do its kness, what makes you think they will take care of your hard-earned 401k till you retire.
Think about it long and hard. You who want to vote for Obama cause you hate Bush, how much more are you going to hate Obama when he takes all rights and all income away from you?
From where I see it, only a non-working low income leech should still consider voting Obama. Anyone with a 401k should think twice and then go rescue what is left of your 401k.

The election is not about Obama and McCain it is about...
The election is not about Obama and McCain it is about whether this nation goes one party exclusively leaving this nation without the checks and balances that insure good government or whether we continue to elect two parties to the leadership of the three branches so that not one party can stomp over the country unchecked.
This election is not about Obama and McCain it is about right and wrong, liberal vs conservative, helpful or hurtful to every man-woman and child in this nation.
This election is the most important election in the history of the United States. More judges will be appointed, more laws will be enacted, more rights risk being taking away by force.
Socialism never stops until it beomes a totalitarian government.
Socialism is an addiction with power.
From where I see it, we need the other real leadership not the promises that mirror Hitler's speeches before his deadly election!
